From Many Systems to a Common Foundation
As PacsOn grew, it became clear that different business systems and processes were slowing down development. To succeed, a common platform and uniform master data were needed.
”We had at least two systems in each area, which created unnecessary complexity. With SAP’s business system in the cloud, we get a standardized solution that is continuously developed and helps us keep the business together,” says Björn Logius, IT Manager at PacsOn.
In addition to SAP S/4HANA, other solutions such as SAP Commerce Cloud, Sales and Service Cloud, SAP Integration Suite and Central Invoice Management are also being implemented. Together, they form a comprehensive solution where SAP Business AI can be used to improve customer service and increase the degree of self-service.
Rapid Rollout Across the Country
The implementation is taking place at a high pace. The first units will be put into operation in March 2026, and the entire rollout will be completed by the summer of the same year. The project is being carried out together with IT partner Pearl.
“We are a fast-paced organization with strong local roots. Our strategy is to combine this with shared systems and processes. With SAP, we get tools that support both our decentralized model and our ambition to be at the forefront of sustainability,” says the company’s CEO, Anders Dahl.
Willingness to Change and Faith in the Future
The broad commitment among employees has been crucial. Around ten leaders within the group are involved in the process and the support for the change is strong. For PacsOn, the initiative means that all units will have access to the same customer register and article data. This provides completely new opportunities to measure, follow up and develop both the business and the sustainability goals. With SAP as a partner, PacsOn looks forward to creating a stable digital foundation – a platform that not only strengthens its own organization, but also helps customers become more efficient, profitable, and sustainable.
